New Talent Singing Awards (NTSA) is the most anticipated and celebrated annual singing contest in the Asian Canadian music industry. Fairchild Television established the New Talent Singing Awards in the 90s and hosted the contest in Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary. NTSA serves a double purpose, to discover the next singing sensation and to provide a healthy yet competitive platform for individuals to showcase their talents. Each year the winner of NTSA will travel to Asia to compete for the winning title of International New Talent Singing Awards (INTSA) hosted by HK-TVB. To many contestants, their goal is to step forth into the Asia music business. INTSA is the perfect gateway into the lavish industry, where the sky is the limit. Many of the past NTSA contestants are now world-renowned stars. These outstanding individuals include Elva Hsiao (1998), Ruby Lu (1998), Jacky Chu (1998), Jade Kwan (1999), Loretta Chow (2005) and Phil Lam (2007), proving that overseas Chinese Canadians are truly the hidden gems to be discovered.

A glamorous stage accompanied by world class audio and lighting systems, a chance to perform with the hottest and most popular singers from Asia, NTSA is an annual singing event that cannot be missed in Canada.
