The highly anticipated “TVB Fairchild Fans Party”, organized by Fairchild TV and co-organized by TVB, Talentvision TV, Fairchild Radio AM1430, and Popular Lifestyle & Entertainment Magazine (PLEM), was successfully held on April 14 at the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto.

TVB artistes Moon Lau, Joey Law and Kelly Fu joined rising local singers David Ruan, Victoria Tam and Richard Wang to deliver a vibrant evening of music, games and fan interaction, with Fairchild Radio AM1430 DJs Albert Cheung and Daniel Ho as the emcees.

The show kicked off with energetic performances by the young singers, setting a lively tone for the night. The excitement peaked when the three TVB stars greeted fans with autographed T-shirts and limited-edition TVB souvenirs, some of which even came with special surprises.

Each artiste then took the stage for solo performances, showcasing their unique styles while interacting with the audience and creating a warm, engaging atmosphere.

In addition to the performances, interactive games such as team challenges and quick-response contests brought artistes and fans together, filling the venue with laughter and energy.

The event wrapped up with group photos and souvenir giveaways, leaving fans with unforgettable memories and eager anticipation for next year’s party.

TVB Stars Meet & Greet - Press Conference & Autograph Session in Toronto

On April 13 (Monday), the “TVB Fairchild Fans Party 2026” press conference and autograph session took place at First Markham Place. TVB artistes Moon Lau, Joey Law, and Kelly Fu made their first stop in Toronto, drawing a large crowd of excited fans and creating a lively atmosphere.

Organized by Fairchild TV and co-organized by TVB, Talentvision TV, Fairchild Radio AM1430, and Popular Lifestyle & Entertainment Magazine (PLEM), the event was supported by Air Canada, bringing the artistes from Hong Kong for this special occasion.

Host Albert Cheung warmed up the crowd before the stars’ appearance, building anticipation for the upcoming show. The artistes engaged fans through interactive games and Q&A sessions, giving away limited-edition TVB souvenirs and photo opportunities. Each artist also selected two lucky fans to receive tickets to the “TVB Fairchild Fans Party 2026” show.

Winnie Wong, Vice President of Fairchild Media Group (Eastern Division), presented the artistes with Ontario ice wine sponsored by Willow Springs Winery, wishing them success in their upcoming performance.

The highlight of the event was the autograph session, where fans met the artistes up close for photos and signed memorabilia. The stars’ warmth and charm made the evening memorable for all attendees.

This event not only brought fans closer to their idols but also kicked off ““TVB Fairchild Fans Party 2026,” building excitement for the performances ahead.

A heartfelt thank you to all sponsors and supporters, and special appreciation to Air Canada for making this meaningful reunion between the artistes and Canadian fans possible.

Starting Jan 21, a six-episode travel series jointly presented by Fairchild TV’s “Timeline Magazine” and the Hong Kong Tourism Board, “Fun to Enjoy the Greater Bay Area” will be aired on FTV1! Each episode invites audiences to discover Greater Bay Area cities, such as Hong Kong, Zhaoqing, and Guangzhou, through their distinctive local cultures and culinary experiences. The program highlights the region’s diverse charm through a “one trip, multiple destinations” travel concept.

Air Time: Starting Jan 21, every Wednesday at 6:45 pm for 6 weeks on FTV 1

The final episode presents a blend of tradition and innovation in Guangzhou, a journey through the rustic charm of Lingnan folk culture!

Visit Lingnan Impression Garden in Guangzhou, where the traditional water-town landscape is recreated. Shadow puppetry, hailed as the origin of Chinese cinema has been listed as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage, and its intricately crafted puppets carry profound historical and cultural significance. The intangible cultural heritage art of cloisonné enamel painting involves meticulous and delicate craftsmanship; the slightest misstep can affect both aesthetics and coloring, reflecting artisans’ relentless pursuit of perfection.

At the Guangdong Arts and Crafts Inheritance Base, visitors can participate in a variety of intangible cultural heritage workshops, including hands-on experiences of papermaking, one of China’s Four Great Inventions, reimagined in innovative ways to promote traditional culture. The time-honored Nan Yuan Restaurant showcases authentic flavors and has been recognized as one of the twelve “National Platinum Five-Diamond Restaurants.” From heritage to innovation, Yongqing Fang breathes new life into historic Lingnan architecture and culture.

Step inside the former residence of martial arts legend Bruce Lee. Set within a classic Xiguan mansion, the exhibition chronicles his life and showcases stills and memorabilia from his iconic films, offering deeper insight into this enduring “Pride of the Chinese.”

Herbal tea, also listed as intangible cultural heritage, embodies generations of folk wisdom. In Shawan Ancient Town, a specialty café boldly fuses herbal tea with coffee—bringing together two distinct “bitters” to create a surprising new flavor. Meanwhile, Shamian Island, once a British and French concession lined with European-style architecture, stands as a testament to Guangzhou’s transformation from a historic trading port to a modern metropolis.

Starting episode 5 in Zhaoqing, a city where development goes hand in hand with ecological conservation. Majestic natural landscapes, the wisdom of ancient villages, and traditional farm life come together to create a journey that soothes the soul. From breathtaking scenery and time-honored villages to the earthy aroma of charcoal kilns and the lively warmth of night markets, each step feels like a walk between history and nature.

From selecting bamboo to make traditional bamboo rice, to kiln-roasting chicken alongside the farm owner, in a secluded farm in Dinghu, you’ll experience ancestral cooking methods passed down through generations. Slowly roasted over high heat, infused with the aroma of soil and firewood, the dish reflects the wisdom and simplicity of rural life—offering an authentic taste of farm living.

Comprising five lakes, six hills, seven crags, and eight caves, Seven Star Crags in Duanzhou District is named after seven towering limestone peaks resembling the Big Dipper. Among them, Shuangyuan Cave, located beneath Apo Rock, once served as a filming location for the classic film "Journey to the West". A short boat ride guided by a local boatman carries visitors through the cave’s magical formations, making the ten-minute journey feel like stepping into an ancient legend.

The journey continues to Bagua Village, founded by Zhou Dunyi, author of On the Love of the Lotus. Centered around Hongyun Terrace — the village’s highest point — the layout reflects an ingenious ancient defensive design. 

No visit to Zhaoqing would be complete without its cuisine. Rooted in Lingnan culinary traditions, local dishes and soups emphasize freshness, tenderness, and delicate flavors. A stroll through the night market offers the perfect finale — an immersive glimpse into everyday life and the true spirit of Zhaoqing. 

Episode 4 begins the journey in Tai O, followed by a breathtaking spectacle of light from dusk to night at Victoria Harbour!

Tai O is a place where generations have made their living from the sea, built on diligence and perseverance, and it has nurtured some of the most iconic flavours of Hong Kong’s dried seafood culture. Locals continue to preserve the tradition of making shrimp paste and shrimp sauce entirely by hand. From street food to Michelin-starred restaurants, those traditional shrimp sauce evokes the unforgettable tasting of Hong Kong. The stilt houses lining the waterways form a unique water village culture found nowhere else in the city, and remain Tai O’s most iconic scenery.

The Victoria Harbour dusk cruise offers the sweeping panoramic view, allowing visitors to witness up the captivating changes in Hong Kong from unset to nightfall, fully showcasing why Victoria Harbour is celebrated as the "Pearl of the Orient."

The Third episode takes our audience on a journey to explore the revitalized historic districts and traditional cuisine, which connecting heritage with innovative travel experiences. The transformation of Kowloon City, from the aviation era to the modern well-developed Kai Tak Sports Park and Harbourfront Promenade,traces the evolution of iconic landmarks; Central’s Tai Kwun showcases a dynamic dialogue between historic architecture and contemporary art galleries;explores traditional medicinal culinary culture blended with modern concepts such as introducing the snake cuisine to the world; and experience the warmth of human connections with the Chinese gourmet as dim sum carts weave through the Chinese restaurant, savoring a taste of Hong Kong’s century-old culinary heritage and everyday wisdom.

The Second episode takes our audience into small villages on the western side of Lantau Island — the rice fields of Yi O, a traditional soy sauce factory in Yuen Long, and the Fu Kam Organic Dragon Fruit Farm in Sheung Shui — in search of Hong Kong’s authentic local flavours.

Michelin Guide recommended restaurants join hands with Hong Kong local farms, using natural, minimally processed ingredients to elevate both flavour and quality, showcasing the true taste of Hong Kong. From farm to table, chefs transform local produce with craftsmanship and creativity, sharing the stories of Hong Kong’s land with travellers from around the world.
