The Last Dance profiles NBA powerhouse Chicago Bulls from 1997 to 1998, during which they won two consecutive NBA Finals. In the third episode, you can catch a glimpse of former host of Fairchild TV’s sports program host Edcon Gabriel Yau and his interview with Michael Jordon. Yau is an acclaimed Hong Kong sports host and commentator. He is currently responsible for narrating NBA basketball games in Cantonese, and is also the host of the NBA China games.

According to the Associated Press, the NBA will allow teams to reopen their training halls starting May 1 to allow players to excercise on a voluntary basis. However, the regular NBA season will be canceled, and the 16 teams will play a shortened playoff at one location to determine champion.

Protective Equipment Dwindling To Keep Front-Line Personnel Safe; We Must Do Our Part!

The new novel coronavirus, known as COVID-19, has put Toronto and most of the world into unprecedented state of emergency. With a large number of people seeking treatment at hospitals, supplies to keep doctors and nurses safe are dwindling. The consequences are dire if doctors and nurses do not have sufficient protective equipment. In light of this, we urge the public to donate any equipment that they can spare to help keep our front-line personnel safe!

Hospitals currently on the forefront in the battle with COVID-19. From March 24th to March 27th, you can help them in their battle by donating unused protective equipment such as surgical masks (single or repeated use ones are accepted), N95 masks, gloves, gowns, etc.

Mandarin Profile Awards has always explored the unique and inspiring achievements of immagrants who strive to make positive contributions to their community. 

To enable more people to voice their opinions, this year we are excited to implement online polling into this year's Mandarin Profile Awards. This online polling system will allow for everyone to cast a vote for their favourite participant without the need to venture into the cold outdoors.
