Vancouver Chinese Lantern Festival
Have you ever seen lanterns made from thousands of porcelain plates, cups and utensils? Between December 15th and January 21st, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the Dai Buddhist Tower, the Beijing Forbidden City, a dragon lantern reaches nearly 100 meters in length, and more painstakingly handcrafted by 30 groups of Chinese artists who in total have used over fifteen thousands LED light bulbs for the festival.
Complex and beautiful illuminated lanterns aren’t the only thing taking place at the festival. Tourists can also enjoy entertaining stage performances and family-friendly activities during their visit.
